Recall on 2017 JayFlight SLX

We received a recall notification for our 2017 JayFlight, stating that during manufacturing, they didn’t put over circuit protection on the wire from the battery to the 35 amp converter. We live nowhere near an authorized repair center, so I hired someone to come out and look at it. He said the wiring looked fine, but I’m skeptical. Does anyone happen to have a picture or description of what the proper wiring should look like? Thanks!

Here is another discussion and directions on how to inspect and repair if necessary.

Thank you!

Thank you, that’s very helpful (I wish I would have seen it before the guy came out and charged us $130 for doing nothing!)

Maybe you paid for the peace of mind of knowing there was nothing wrong with your unit. Knowing you don't have a problem is very valuable.

Peace of mind, yes! Most definitely. My skepticism comes from the fact that I’m not sure he knew what to look for. 😂
