Recaulking shower?

I am going to recaulk the inside of my shower in my trailer. Should there be caulk around the entire perimeter on the bottom or just the half along the sides that face the glass? It looks like the prvious owner didn't have caulking around the two back sides where it is bottoned to the wall. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

Our shower is the same. Open on the bottom. I believe this is to allow any moisture that may get behind the panel to drain down and out. My 2 cents.

Ours isn't caulked at the bottom either. I agree with Topflight about allowing any moisture to drain out the bottom.

There is no caulking on the bottom for a reason. Our RV tech told us that it is due to the flexing of the trailer during travel, that the caulking would just crack and let go. The shower walls are designed with a lip, to prevent water from getting behind.

Thats funny as I just picked up my 330rlts the other day I was going over trailer from top to bottom and also noticed no caulk by bottom of shower walls.I`m a plumber by trade and usually look for any future water related issues that may occur, but some good points were mentioned I already caulked it now I dont know if I should remove it.I dont want any problems,I love the camper but I already had a electric stabilizer brake on it.I hope no further issues

Thanks for the information. I guess I will just caulk by the door and not against the wall then.
