Refrigerator freezing

I have a 2020 Jayco 31 bh. The refrigerator has been freezing everything recently. The temp has been as low as 11 degrees. We turned it on and off the last week while on vacation to control the temp. Not ideal but it worked.

Any suggestions on how to fix it so it stops freezing. It has the temperature adjustment that slides up and down the metal fins in the refrigerator.

What frig do you have?

If a dual fuel, check the thermistor if it is in the coils. It should be attached to a particular coil.

See the section on troubleshooting fridge cooling in the attached document. It may help. This is an unusual situation. Most complaints are for poor cooling. Sounds like you are not in a hot environment and your fridge is not stopping its cooling when the set temp is reached. Coud be a control board or thermistor.

If you can download the manufacture's manual for the fridge it may have a troubleshooting section.

There is a slide adjustment on the temp, look into that on your model. Could have been bumped

We had the same problem. It turned out to be a defective thermistor ( the slide adjustment). The tech at our dealership ( ours was under warranty ) told us that if you move the slide up it will drop the temperature and moving it down will increase the temp.
