Replacement awning arm for Jayco 22RB

Well had a wife mishap with the awning over the weekend and need to obtain some parts to repair a bent arm on the awning. Its a Carefree Longitude and the part number for the WHOLE arm is R001838BLK. I was able to disassemble the bend part of the arm and definately could put it back together if I had just the bent part. Of course I could just order the whole arm at around $325 but I digress.

Anyone know of where to locate just the circled part of the arm or have any other ideas ? The bent arm doesn't look fixable so I need to replace it.

Have you contacted CoC about just purchasing the individual part?

We lost our Awning arm over the winter, looked for parts and found the same thing. Have to purchase the entire arm. We paid a mobile awning company in the Tampa area to come out and install the whole thing - As I recall, we paid about $650.00 for the whole experience!

They had two guys, with the right tools and they spent a good 2.5 hours and did a very good job.

Surely there must be a camper wrecking yard out there for parts? Have you checked ebay?

Carefree actually sent me a list of places. Called a couple of them with no luck. Half the list was bad.

Yes been checking around. Was hoping to locate someone here that had leftover parts themselves that might be damaged in a different area.

rbreding, did you ever find the solution. I am in the exact same solution with my 2017 Hummingbird.

Happen on my bird 2 weeks ago! Had my 4 ft ladder were it shouldn't have been, When It closed the awning bent one of the small arms. Same deal the company would only sell you the whole unit. $600. I drill out the rivets to remove the bent arm, had it fix and bought replacement rivets "short and a long" with plastic spacer on ebay. My son help me put it back together. Works good now

Have you checked with Colaw in Joplin Missouri they seem to have a ton of stuff, there is also a place in Billings MO called the RV Firm and they advertise parts for sale off of salvage and such.
