Sheet metal repair

On our last return trip I was attempting to back T/T tru my 12 ft gate W/O my DW needless to say caught edge of said gate tore 4” on left lower side. Of course I tried to blame DW for Not being on that side.

So will anyRV shop repair it or do I go to car body shop ?

Thanks

Since it’s on the bottom edge, unless you want it looking new, I’d look for some sort of molding. Rubber mallet gently flatten out the damage then put a molding along the bottom to cover it up.

Any RV repair shop should be able to address it or give you ideas...

Thank you Colorado I am sure the cost for the repair at a shop is more than worth it. I will check your suggestion ,molding.

Will update you after the work

Thanks
