Shower hose suggestions
Anyone have a solution for the kinked shower hose? I thought about putting a command hook to hold it up but it definitely affects the water pressure at this angle.

It does! Although I’ve seen the same configuration and several other Jay feathers. It does seem odd!

I agree with Zenar. Can you turn the whole faucet around so that the shower hose points downward?

You should be able to go to your local DIY hardware store and buy a new shower hose.
It is the way Jayco installs all of them. If you are ambitious you could pull he faucet apart and flip it over.

I have a friend who is a plumber and I’m going to have him take a look to see if that’s possible. I hope that works bc that would alleviate the kink!

I asked this same question on fb and someone did suggest a metal hose which would stand up easier. I may look into that if we can flip it.

I’m glad to know that it works that way! We will definitely try to flip it! Thanks!

Behind the valves in the closet should be a cover plate you can remove to acces the valves. Disconnect them, flip the valves, and reconnect. Then exchange the valve caps. It's easy, I am cripple and did it

Ours points up. Changed it to metal. No issues.

x-2 easy to flip. Look for an access panel in back.
Warning: Be very careful not to drop a nut or washer when removing the back connections. They will fall to never never land. Don't ask me how I know!

We flipped it! It was easy! I still may look into a new tube bc a metal one would be nicer I bet. This one is kinked for good! I got a new bathroom faucet too! Thankful for my in house plumber/mechanic! 😀

I changed ours out to a "corregated" metal one...the kind that looks like electrical conduit. Doesnt kink at all. You can get one at your local hardware store for fairly cheap.

Had the original steel hose in my 5er with properly oriented faucet. Replaced it with plastic one because it was leaving rub marks on shower wall while traveling.

Like others, I changed mine out to the digenics (sp). Works great.

If you reverse it, wouldn't it kink when you raise it overhead? Maybe that's why it's the way it is.
