Side mount AC

Hello! I bought a 2020 Jayco 174bh. It has a side mount AC unit. If I look around the inside trim I can see daylight. Is this normal? I figured there should be some kind of insulation or barrier from the outside?

I would doubt it. My 195RB does not show daylight around the trim. If I take the trim off I can see some daylight coming down from the roof vent.

If it is new (under 2 years) call your dealer and ask them to check it out. Odds are you have sloppy installation (or they just forgot) of a seal around the unit.
