Slide out supports are they needed?

Had our first weekend trip and everything worked well when I did my job🤪 is there in need or recommendations about using supports under the slide out? July 5th weekend “camping” in the full hook up parking lot at French Lick Resort Resort Ana Casino! Thanks for any advice!

Manual tells us that supports are not needed for the slide outs

Do NOT use them. What happens if you have a tire lose air for some reason and the trailer drops a little? All that weight is now on the slide, pushing it up and out of whack.

Not only the possibility of a tire losing air but the ground under the weight of the tires settling lower?

When we purchased our TT in 2012 I contacted JAYCO and asked them about using the supports. They said it would void my warranty (on the slide) should something go wrong with it.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: No, and they could do more harm than good.
