Slide Rollers and Lubrication

I have searched the forum and only found one thread that somewhat touched on this topic but was no where comprehensive.

I am wondering if you should ever lubricate the rollers for the slide? If so what type of lubrication should be used? (dry or same stuff used for gears/slide rail etc?

I do not have any issues with it nor does it squeak etc., it just seemed that they might benefit from some love and care like the rest of the slide gets...

Ours has two rollers, both are accessible from either inside the trailer or outside behind the seal, so very easy to access. But also semi exposed at the same time which is why I am wondering about this. The manual does not say anything about them either.

Would love to see what thoughts and experiences are with this one, thanks!

The rollers on ours have no provision for lubricating and for the number of rotations they do in a lifetime they should not need service.

If it's working properly...don't even look at it, much less try to 'fix" it.

Yeah. If it’s got rollers may be a schwintek. Don’t even make eye contact with it. Just keep walking past.
