Solar charge controller location

Hello. Just purchased an Eagle HT 264 BHOK. Does anyone know where the wires would be for the pre wired charge controller ?
Thank you

Do you have a GoPower sticker on a wall inside? Wires would be right behind the sticker in the wall.

If you don’t have a sticker, is it possible your rig is “solar ready” and not “wired for solar”? That would mean the wires are connected to the battery’s but not to the inside or roof.

They should be in your front storage compartment. A go power sticker should be on the paneling and the wires should be behind there.

Thank you. I’ll look. I do have a sticker on the outside that says wired for solar on roof.

There should also be a solar connection on the tongue of the trailer for portable solar hook up.

If the sticker is on the outside, I would agree with others, it might go direct from the roof to the batteries. Just need to find the wires and try to follow them. The controller needs to go somewhere between the panels and the batteries.

Thanks for all the help. I went up on the roof for the first time tonite. Found the plugs for the solar panels with the GO logo on them. I’ll look this week for the wiring in the storage area.

I just remembered on my dads Jayco it’s on the wall inside the trailer. Seems like a horrible place to me to put it, but that’s where his is.

It's actually not as most charge controllers have readouts that tell the batt volts, the charge from the sun etc, more elaborate controllers have more information. Also some have switches to run equalize charge instead of just float voltage.
This
is the sort of thing you want in an easy to read place.

Here's the one that I bought recently.

I’ve got that one installed in my trailer. I’ve got the Bluetooth accessory so I can get all the stats on a app on my phone easier then reading the devices display. Here’s a pic of the app screen. I’m not close to the trailer so there’s no info, it it’s sure nice to have.

I just purchased the same model and year. Mine has 2 solar panels on the roof . The controller is located behind the small panel in the front storage compartment that is held in place with 2 Phillips head screws. This is alongside the utility hookup compartment. This is a blind no display controller that provides the normal data to your JAYCOMMAND panel inside. Just select the Energy Icon and scroll down to view the data. I’ll be adding Velcro to the removable panel just in case I need to access the rats nest of wires someday. Wouldn’t want to short anything out with a screwdriver. LOL

Do you have a photo of the controller? I have a new 2022 Jayco Eagle HT 31MB, have in the spec sheet the Overlander II solar package installed, two panels on the roof, but I can’t find the solar controller anywhere. I have not however removed the access panel in the front compartment yet. I have no Go Power stickers anywhere, and JayCommand does not show any solar activity. Not just 0’s. No data on any controller as if not there.
