Space where steps where

I bought the portable Moryd steps for our Jayco 287BHSW SLX. Now I don't know what to do with the empty space created when I removed the folding steps.
For Christmas I received $200 worth of gift cards so I thought about installing the Moryd storage box to fill the hole. The wife ask what I would put in the box an when I told her she made a few good points making me wonder if a storage box was that good of an idea.
Does anyone have any ideas for something else I could do to fill that hole? I'm torn between buying the storage box and a keyless entry for the door.
I don't know why but the gap drives me nuts. The goal would be to address the gap and have a keyless entry.

I think the storage box would be a great idea. You could store your fittings for the sewer, hoses, tools, possibly small folding tables etc. I have always felt you can’t have too much storage.

I suggest you buy both the storage box and keyless entry. You will appreciate both.

If I had the money for both I would. I only have the gift card money at the money.

An i was looking for other alternatives if there where any out there to be had.
