Speaker info needed

Hello,

I have a 2011 Feather Select 213. The outdoor speakers need replacing. Does anyone have a lead on what speakers make good replacements? It seems to me by measuring across the front of the speaker that they are 6 inch speakers, 6.5 including the extended surface for the screws but its hard to be certain.

thanks!

I don't have specific guidance however I suggest to go to a website such as crutchfield and search in particular for "marine" or "boat" speakers as they have cones made of a material that doesn't get damaged due to moisture (water or rain for example) and I would only purchase that type of speaker (vs speakers made for cabinets and dry locations). Also, crutchfield has guidance for the physical speaker sizes that can help you match in size what you already have. ~CA

X-2 on https://www.crutchfield.com

I've dealt with them numerous times and they are top notch. Install instructions for a replacement radio for my daughter's car were car model specific and very detailed. I had a problem with a TV sound system that was years out of warranty and instead of just dumping the problem off onto Sony, they walked me through the diagnosis and reset in about 20 minutes. When I tried to pay for the tech support it was, "No sir. No charge. I see in the records that you purchased it from us". Polk outdoor deck speakers are 25 years old and still going strong.

From what I can tell most of the components of that era are all the same across most of Jayco's lines.

I have a 23B which is basically the same trailer. I can see the sticker on the speaker magnet when I look under my kitchen cabinets. My HTT is still in winter storage, so I cannot runout and take a look.
