Pressure of the tow vehicle? Yes, most definitely. I run my F-350 at 80 in the rear and 60 in the front when towing my TT (those are the max pressures). I usually drop the pressure to 65 in the rears to reduce the bounce when empty.

Tires on my TT increase from 5 to 10 pounds on the White Hawk 31BH, with tire pressure initially set to 80 psi.

Mt 2012 Tundra Crewmax calls for 30 psi in the front and 33 psi in the back. I add seven psi and run 37 and 40 when towing my 5,000 pound TT.

Best to just weigh it and use the load inflation tables of the tire manufacturer

I looked at the website Max 44 psi, I normally run 32, since I was loaded down I brought the tires up to 44 psi on this trip. I can feel the difference, not sure how to describe, firmer, stable, but better.

There must be a dozen threads on this topic in the list for the last 30 days.

I reread the post. I do not increase the pressure in the tires for towing. I use the manufacturer recommended psi for all tires, which for the TV is 80 in the rear and 55 in the front.

The placard on the door jam on my F-250 states 60 front, 65 rear. This is what Ford recommends for the best ride quality. When I tow my 9200lb Eagle, rears go to 80psi and fronts to 70 for a more stable towing experience.

I use the light truck tire weight chart available from the tire brand manufacture. There it tells what air pressures should be for the weight on the tires. I do increase the pressures when towing and adjust my trailer tires to the weight of the trailer. In my situation I run mine while towing at or near the maximum stamped on the tire. I found the door label does not consider the extra weight on the vehicle in a towing situation. Use the tire weight chart and the tire air pressure limits guideline. Proper pressure effects fuel mileage and tire life.

When using a vehicle for towing it’s best to run LT tires, they have a heavier side wall design than the P tires. The handling will be much better when towing.

I increase psi for towing. I have forgotten a few times to drop it back down when not towing and ill tell you what my tires are wearing faster in the center. I do get slightly better mpg when the tires are at max psi. But the additional tire wear is so significant ill take the dip in mpg. I've got 60k mile tires on my truck and just the few thousand miles I've ran them over inflated I might see 45k miles before I am forced to replace them. I don't take chances with tires when towing. Keep then in good shape and inflated right. There is too much riding on them preforming right. Tires are honestly my biggest worry when hauling my 5thwheel.

Yes, every time. Run mine at 80 all around, per the sidewall max on my tires. Then reduce them back to 60/front and 65/rear when not towing. So far, no issues.

I raise my tires to 45 psi when towing ..... Be prepared for your tire pressure sensors to show a problem on the dash .....

Tire pressure

The first time I pulled our 5ver I was told by a tire guy at shop to go at 80 psi. I listened to him and regretted it!
By the end of the 3 week trip my rear tires were bald in the center. Since then, I run all my tires at 65 psi and they now wear evenly!
Every year I rotate them front to back and they last MUCH longer !!!
The added trailer weight on the rear tires will increase the temperature and pressure 10 to 15 psi

What did the sidewall and door sticker have as the recommended pressure? Mine, on the Duramax was 65 front 80 rear and I never had tires wear out of the norm.
