Tongue jack

Hi, I just read several post from the past about this subject ,but to no avail for me.

My question is . Is there a grease fitting or some way lube the gears inside ? According to the sticker the brand is either LP or LF 9faded)products Ultra 3502 out of IN. Model number 38944012. I tried a google search on both names ,nothing related to elect. tougue jacks. One post said Jayco buys from Lippert ?

My tt is nine years old, the jacks works but slow and noisy. I would replace it but not sure what weight capacity.
Any help would be appreciated.

A cheap 3500# jack from eBay works well for me.

I will spray the shaft and spray a bit down the top best I can but no grease fittings on any of my jacks.

You should be able to take the head off the jack by loosening three or four screws. Then you can get inside the shaft and apply some grease to moving parts.

X2 on pulling the head and greasing the gears. A can of spray white lithium or a waterrpoof grease wold be fine. Not spray oil
But the unit may just be about done and ready for replacement.
You don't have your RV or towing vehicle in your signature, always a good idea to get best advice.
I got a relatively low priced unit with a lot of 5 stars. I picked up a JackQiuck 3000 for $112 4 years ago and still going strong. At that price of it dies (hopefully not while traveling) I would not be hurt.

its not hard to take the head unit apart and add grease to the gears.. Just a few screws lift the top cover off and your there..
ps turn off the power to the jack first just in case...

I did all this last year and then while on Vacation it took a turn for the worst.. it didn't fail but pieces of metal started to show up ... mine is 10 year old as well so for 156 bucks I bought a 3500lb one to replace my 3000lb one
