Tongue jack not working

Just stopped working all the sudden. Any idea why? Battery is on but it acts like it doesn’t have power.

I would wager your in-line fuse is blown, which is common. Buy them by the gross.

Is your battery mounted on the aframe near the hitch like behind the lp tanks? If so, look under the battery for a 30amp fuse in an inline fuse block. I have that and have blown the fuse when operating the electric jack past the stop. Check that fuse and replace it. That should fix it.

I keep spare fuse for that. Happened twice now in two camping trips

Thanks. I’ll look next time I’m out at the trailer.

There are 2 inline fuses for the jack. One should be visible in the wire leading up to the control box on the jack. The other will be a spade connector fuse by the junction box on the frame of the trailer.

I have a Husky 4500 lbs. Brute Power Jack that I really like and it stopped working a couple weeks ago. The Husky has a "breaker" that you can reset instead of a fuse. Turns out the breaker was bad. I installed a 30 amp inline fuse... works great!

I've seen this before. Time for a new camper!

I agree with Greg&Nancy. Running the jack until it "clicks" can cause a blown fuse. Same goes with the slides.

Don't know about your jack.. but mine also has a light on it. If the light doesn't work, pretty sure it's a fuse.
