For the smaller trailers, have a complete spare hub assembly greased and ready to swap. It is about as cheap as buying the spare bearings and definitely a lot easier to swap out on the side of the road on a hot summer day.

i always carry at least two gallons of water in case my truck ran hot. I have never needed it, but hoses can burst, water pumps can start leaking, etc.

That's also the reason we own a bunkhouse now. "Honest honey, I just got up to go to the bathroom but decided to sleep the rest of the night in the bunk so I didn't wake you coming back to bed"

You might want to check out this link. He's a little on the electrical side but good info nonetheless.

How did you know which hub to buy? I don't know my axle size.

Tools

Definitely at least one, better two channel lock pliers. Camp sites have installed vacuum breakers on the water fill lines that are too short to allow a leak tight fit for your water line. I've had to remove these things for the last three camping trip s Had to borrow some channel lock plyers each time.

First 2 items is a cell phone and a credit card. All other items are optional based on your abilities to use them. I also carry a AAA Plus-RV card that helps at times also. I do carry an assortment of hand tools but the only one I use regularly is a 12 way screwdriver.
