This is the third time in 4 years. I like the location, but my insurance rate are going to kill me now for next year. They may not renew the policy unless I move the trailer
And it is a hour to get out to do anything to the trailer.
They have build a new fence, but It not enough, they are still getting in.
Going to look on Saturday a couple of places.
October is going to be a busy month.

X2 on OUCH!!!

I count my blessing everyday being able to park all of my trailers and things here at the house... One of the benefits of living in a somewhat rural area for sure...

I have heard some folks do like suggested above and not have any valuables in the trailer and just leave it unlocked...

Even just having a noticeable flashing small red light on the outside area near the door working from a motion detector circuit would probably help some... Might give the impression you have a remote alarm engaged... You could run this from a small solar panel...

Been very fortunate here at the house with my bigger battery banks and the propane tanks as well... My back porch lights up from a motion detector when anyone walks up into the back yard... When my lights come on late in the night my nearby good neighbor usually turns his on...

A friend of mine in another county here found a farm barn spot to rent out to park his trailer in. Its completely out of site sitting inside the barn...

Insurance and travel time is certainly a factor.

As Roy mentioned, in our area the decline of small farming has left many former farms with large empty buildings. Some of the owners in our area have taken in boats and trailers for inside storage. It might be worth asking around. Most don't advertise. If you find the right lead it can provide very reasonable safe storage.

Thats Not good
I live off 216st. Was this on the east side of town? I must admit, I always worry about things like that happening but im lucky enough to have a bit at the house to park it which helps. Had the tools stolen out of my truck when I first moved here but no trouble since then, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Sorry to hear about this. It sucks! We live in the Fraser Valley as well, but are able to park our trailer in the driveway. I hope you find a new storage place soon.

This is out in Chilliwack just off the freeway Lick man Road, just behind the Tim Horton's
They must be been looking for Money, Nothing was stolen out of the trailer. Not even a warm coat in the closet.
I am over on the Haney Bypass in a town House so no parking for the trailer, it is too long to fit in the parking spot, the truck is there.

I had to take a picture of this two signs from Ontario, while visiting family
They have this all through town

Annie, that's terrible! Three times in four years?? I'd be looking for a new place to park after the second time. Thats funny (to me)- You remember that monster wind storm we had back in the end of August? It delayed our departure for a trip by two days. Not because of downed trees or damage, but because the lot keep the trailer at, lost power. The owners refused entry to everyone because their security system was off-line. At the time I was upset but I understood their intent. Looking back, I'm grateful that they did it. Hopefully you find a more secure location!
