Trailer Movement/Stablizers
I'm setting stableizers as instructed for my 22FB, using wooden pads and lowering the jacks one turn after they touch the pads. When one of us walk in the trailer, it still moves. Is this normal for a light trailer, or do I need to do something differently?

What type of wheel chocks are you using and how many?
I made a couple of in-between the wheel chocks and they work very well.
They lock both wheels on each side to stop the back and forth rocking.

This does not pertain to wheels rolling. The trailer "moves" when one of us us walking inside.

Look up JT's strongarm stabilizers, they take out most of the movement.
Hey, I just turned 100 posts and am now a senior!!!! I thought I already was one.

You might be surprised to see how chocking the wheels solidly will reduce the movement inside when walking around.
Just my experience.

The JT Stablizers are a bit pricey. Right now, I'm using the plastic wheel chocks and I'll be the first to admit I need to try a set of BAL wheel locks. I think for $400, DW can live with a little bit of trailer shake.

Where did you get them for $40.00/pair? I have only seen them for $40.00 single. I got mine for $72.00/pair at Amazon.com, and that was with free shipping.

How many of you use the BAL X Chocks on both sets of wheels?

We use two sets. But we also chock just in front and in back of a tire when we initially unhook as we have found that heated tires from traveling will shrink down a bit after cooling down. The Bal X-chocks need to be retightened then

My bad, they were $37 each, plus shipping (dug the invoice out). Cheapest around at the time.
