Trailer weather cover

Just bought a near perfect 2010 Jay Flight 22FB. I want to keep it nice, but the hot summer sun in Eastern North Carolina 'cooks' RV roofs and boat topsides. I don't have access to a storage barn or carport. Any advice / effectiveness experience with good quality full RV covers? I'm really enjoying and learning a bunch reading all the posts on the forum. Many thanks.

Welcome to the Forum. I have the Adco Designer Cover and it's going on it's 4th year and holding up well. I remove the cover in early April and usually don't re- cover it until the next December. Our trailer is 34' and putting the cover on after every trip in the summer would be a royal PITA, so I just try and maintain the exterior best I can with a nice coat of wax and keep the roof clean.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Jayco! We don't use a cover so I can't offer tips on that item. But we wanted to welcome you anyway. Have fun with your new TT.

We're on the "we cover" side of the conversation. A full cover may be in order for the winter-to spring times, but if it's only the roof you wish to protect, there are "toppers" available, which would be much lighter and easier to use. No experience with them specifically, maybe someone that knows will chime in. A full cover will protect the sides as well, but if you hook up often, may be a pain.
