Mine are held on with angle brackets and phillips head screws. 2 along the top and one on each side. Unscrew the screws and it will come right off. I needed a long screwdriver with a magnetic tip.

Had to do the same repair on our 19RD. Like MS1115 said, look underneath for the angle brackets, and remove the valance and shade together. A couple more screws hold the shade to the valance. Put the shade on a flat surface, like a table. The cord on ours frayed where it went through a brass grommet ( in the bottom bar) that was crimped in badly. Do you have one of the cord replacement kits already?

I have the 19rd and need to repair the rear blinds as well as the blinds over the sink. I saw one of the brackets but the others seem to be blocked by the blinds?

I haven't looked at the valence on the rear window. I only had to repair the one by the bed. The kitchen sink window on ours has a mini-blind. I'll take a look at the rear one on ours tonight.

Mine remove themselves! Just pull the camper on any trip and they all fall off the walls!

I looked at our 19RD last night, and there are two angle brackets visible between the shade and the glass, just like the bedroom shade I replaced a little while ago. Remove the screws going up into the valance, and the whole assembly will come off the wall. Being a larger shade, I wasn't sure if there was more than two brackets. Just follow the instructions in the repair kit (available from CW or an RV dealer) for your style shade (day shade only, or day/night shade), and it'll be self explanatory how to repair it. Not a tough job at all. Enough in the kit to fix several shades.

We had all the shade strings on 4 shades replaced while our previous 26BH was still under warranty. They seem to fray very easily. Look them all over real good before the warranty runs out and get them replaced if even fraying a little.

Look from the bottom up and you will see the screws you have to remove.
