Walk through 338 RETS

We did walk through in 2016 RETS. Floor tore, TV scratched flat screen, decals tore, leather recliner tore, and outside trim panel scuffed like crazy. Is this typical on a walk through of just treated rough after we looked and bought? Brand new camper but things are under warranty? Its been at dealer for almost a month and have not taken possession yet. Although first payment comming up soon. Lol

A PDI is supposed to be conducted by the dealer BEFORE you conduct your own. I am sorry to hear that your dealer obviously could not be bothered.

But, you should not pay anything until you sign off on the PDI. No sign off, no money IMO. I would be tempted to tell them to !@#$!@#$!@#$ dont shine.

Welcome to the JOF, Holysmokes.

Did the damage you stated happen after you had looked at it but before your PDI? From your description, it sounds like someone or several people damaged the unit. It doesn't seem like the usual production issues.

This was all noticed during PDI . ( That is the part where they demonstrate everything right) To complicate things, I'm doing this for my mom. She is in Texas ( most of time) I am in Ohio. She purchased this to have " her own place" when up to visit grand babies. ( on our property)The time has given me the chance to prep and run 50 A service. Just wasn't sure if all this was " normal" or not. Plus Iknow how picky grandmas can be.The floor looked like a screw was on the floor and they brought slide in across unolium floor.
Thanks for the advice and the welcome.
