Where to buy a Jayco wheel
Does anyone know where I can by a spare wheel that is the same as the original wheel? I'll attach a picture. Its a 16" wheel thats on my 2019 Eagle HT. I emailed Jayco a few days ago and haven't heard anything.
Also, my spare is located under the trailer on a cable system. Do you think the cable system would be strong enough to hold 2 spare tires?
Thanks

That was quick! I think your right or pretty close. Not sure if I should get an exact replacement or just a cheap steel one for a second spare.

That's because I'm that good. Yeah, right. Lol!
I swapped out my China bomb tires last year and got one for the spare. I looked under the trailer at the spare and noticed I had a white steel wagon wheel. I posted a thread here asking your same question and got my answer. I called the company and they were very good to deal with. I sent a pic of my wheel to them while on the phone and they verified which wheel I had and what finish it was. I believe my wheel was around $130 shipped. Mine is a 16" 8 lug so it was a little more than the 6 lug wheels are.

I replaced two of mine last year - buffered damage when the china bombs blew up. I got them from etrailer.com.

Thanks for the replies. No luck on etrailer or Amazon. Lake Huron suggested tredittire.com. they have a wheel that looks the same. They are on backorder but I'm in no rush.
What do you all think of me using the spare tire cable system on the underbelly to hold 2 spare tires? If I have ample clearance, do you think it's strong enough?

If you mean like the cable winch system that's on a truck, I think it'd work just fine. You can just about pull a car out of a ditch with them things.

Yes. Same type system. I know that the cable is strong enough, I'm just concerned about the other components and how its mounted. Ill have to open up the enclosed underbelly and take a look

I don't have room so for me it's not a question, but I have removed one on another rig and it is held to the frame with 1/4 inch self tapping screws if I remember correctly.
I would be a little leary of hanging double the weight on that bracket without verifying or reattaching it somehow with bolts.

I can vouch for the Tredittire folks. I no longer have my Jayco and now have a Montana High Country. The MHC came with tires and wheels supplied by Tredittire.
One of my aluminum wheels had a small crack where s spoke met the rim. The crack resulted in a small air leak. My tire guy found the problem and circled the crack with chalk.
Call my dealer about the cracked wheel and was told it would be warrantied but I had to bring the whole FW to them for diagnosis Stupid … why can't I just bring the tire and wheel … nooooooo, you gotta bring the whole FW.
So, dug around on the Montana Forum and found out who supplies the wheel. Emailed Tredittire, sent picks, and a week later had a new wheel at my doorstep no charge. And, a note inside the box that they would allow 45 buck allowance for swapping the tire to new wheel

That's pretty impressive!
Good for them to step up like that and take care of the issue, unlike the dealer. Sounds like all they wanted to do is jerk you around.
