If you blow out the lines and then flush them with pink you will probably need 1 to 2 gallons max. Just make sure you don't fill up the hot water heater because you didn't set the diverter valve correctly. If you don't blow out the lines it may take more but 2 gallons should still do the job. Anything left over will save till next year.

Be sure to buy alcohol free RV antifreeze, it will NOT be marked combustible.

I agree, at least 2 gallons for......, hot/cold plumbing, p-traps, and I also add a little in the grey/black tanks for a little dump valve protection. As mentioned, by-pass HWH.

Have 2 gallons handy. Often I use just a bit more than 1 gallon. I try to have a spare .5-1 gallon in the garage, just incase I realized I opps'd and forgot something, which has happened a few times.

Can anyone tell me how to winterize a 2022 26xd with no hot water bypass? I've been told to keep RV antifreeze out of the hot water tank but with no bypass valve that's impossible with the current plumbing system.

What water heater do you have?

Is it tankless? If so push it through. It will not hurt it.

If a tanked water heater, double check, I have not heard of a Jayco that did not have a bypass in decades. Putting antifreeze in a tanked system just takes a lot, and is a waste of $$$$.
