Wiring Issues

Just off the phone to Jayco support. My 338RETS Eagle TT is alittle over 2 months old. Still happy for the most part. My refrigerator was having problems running on 110v. I couldn’t get anyone from the dealer to travel to my trailer so we were forced to try to repair it over the phone with Jayco support and the manufacturer of the inverter. To shorten the story, the inverter wasn’t installed properly. Wires weren’t secured in the clamps on the circuit board. One neutral wire showed signs of overheating. The next step would have been a fire. I reported it to Jayco so they could contact owners of trailers built by this lazy idiot. Too see if you have the same problem, pull on the ac wires going into and out of your inverter. They shouldn’t come out . Disconnect from shore power before attempting this. I located the procedure on opening the clamps on YouTube. Good luck to all.

Sorry to hear this.. hope your issue is fully resolved.

I think it would be helpful if you'd provide the manufacturer's name and model #.
