Everytime I head east towards the Elkart area the RV capital I see and average of one (1) trailer per mile heading west to be delivered. It is a cool site

We had popups for about 15 years but decided on TT few years back. Think another reason for more TTs is aging of camping population, believing easier setup, more comfort, and for us tired of canvas for few reasons..

RV'S seem/are more popular now because it is the cheapest family vacation you can have. It is VERY expensive to fly anywhere, and hotel/restaurant prices are downright stupid. We went to Mayan Riviera several yrs back (just 2 of us) and that set us beck approx $3500 can. We could camp for a long time on that much cash. Throw in a couple kids and you could only do that once every several years. RVING is "dirt cheap" by comparison. (And a lot more fun)
Happy Camping

41 U.S. RV manufacturers. Perception? Oh. That's just the number of manufacturers whose names begin with A through F! Not brands, just manufacturers. Forest River alone has about a page full. [url=http://changingears.com/rv-sec-manufacturers-sort-manuf.shtml?sort=manuf&alpha=f&type=all]RV Manufacturers: Sorted by Manufacturer[/urli

With so many makers and all their brands in such a relatively small market, it's no wonder quality isn't what we'd like it to be.
