Looking at buying a X213 and it has some tape on the top corners of the rear slide. Anyone have experience with this and what to look closer at?

Any other things to keep an eye out for on these models?

Looks like Eternabond tape to me and it’s usually used for serious problems. Been on this site for 9 years now and have never seen that kind of repair and a sloppy one at that.

Our X213 is 10 years old and we've never has a problem in a similar location. I'd ask for an explanation for the repair.

I've thought about eternabonding my roof vents and skylights on my trailer, but then I thought if I sell my RV down the road is someone going to suspect an issue and walk away, when I was just doing preventative maintenance?

There doesn't appear to be any damage from the pics you posted, so just inquire about it.
