1984 Jayco Pop-Up Trailer Sink Drain Problem

Hi,
This is my first post!
My parents passed down their 1984 Jayco Pop-up Trailer to us to use. Last summer, we redid the interior with fresh paint, new floors, etc. We are trying to squeeze a few years more out of it.

Our countertop, like a book, we have to open it up to put the camper top down. Close it when we are ready to use the sink/stove, etc.

Our sink drain had some kind of foam ring on the bottom that will seal with the opening on the secondary drain. It deteriorated and we can no longer use the sink drain without water going all over the place. Our temporary fix is to use a funnel on top of our secondary drain, but that doesn't really work very well.

I once saw a post somewhere that a man used a new sink drain that actually attaches to a garden hose and easily stick it through the hole to the outside. If you know what I'm talking about, please help me find the link. It could have been a video?

Much thanks!!!
