All models - Dealer Stock Only?

Pop-Ups

Is Jayco punting on the pop-up?

It may be that time. I dont see many new pop ups in campgrounds lately, or maybe its just a closeout of the 2019 models.

That would be a shame. After all the hoopla w/ all the RVs I've been through, I'll be honest I can see myself grabbing a pop-up at some point and just 'camping' in the Spring/Fall. Keeping it simple.

Don't read too much into the term "Dealer stock only". Sometimes, yes it means they are dropping something. More often than not it means they are over stocked and aren't going to make build custom orders until stock is used up. It can also mean that the model is about to change due to the new model year.

When we bought our X20E the website said "Dealer stock only". The X20E was available for at least 3 more years after we bought ours.

I normally don't, but in this case all the popup models are listed as such. I hope they don't ditch them - many people get into the hobby via a pop-up. I know I did ! *sometimes I look at my bills and the complexity of what I have and wonder if I should have kept the damned thing*

Looking at other mfr websites like Forest River there are tons of pop up models available.. Even if Jayco downsizes the line pop ups should be available from others. I have seen an explosion in A frames. Everyone seems to be doing one.

Yep, it was announced in January, but supposedly temporarily.

It would be sad to see the pop-ups go away. That is the root stock from which all Jayco's grew. Let's hope they restart production in time.

All dependent on sales. Low sales, no motivation to produce them. Just like the drop in sedan sales is causing some manufacturers to stop making sedans. It's sad but a reality.

I know I'll never buy another one. I wish I never bought this one.
I might feel different if it was the first time. But it's not.
