Jayco 2005 pop up

I have one telescoping arm that doesn't go all the way down. It stays up about 1 inch higher than the others. It will not allow me to clip that corner, but I can clip the others. It feels like it might be hitting something but I can, see or access it. I have tried moving it around but that does' nt seem to help . Any ideas?

Before you take anything apart get under the camper and look for all the wires going to a connector. That attaches to drum that pulls it up. Look for loose wire, off position, maybe a broken pulley. Slack in a wire(s) may indicate something wrong in the mechanism.

Make sure sliding parts of the posts are all properly lubed and move like each other.
