Jayco heritage

Hi
I have a 17.5 ft heritage poptop. Single axle, single beds. I talked to a guy today who has the same van as me, but his has dual axles. Everything else is the same. Why does his have dual axles and mine single axle.
Thanks
Andy

There may be other reasons, but the extra axle will give you a little more length and much more cargo carrying capacity.

When Jayco made hybrids, the 17z was a sindle axle model, the 19h was the same trailer with double axles. With the extra length there was a double sink (instead of single) added on one side and a cabinet on the other. Otherwise it was exactly the same trailer, but the second axle added much more cargo carrying capacity. I don't remember the published spec, but I think it was around 900 lbs.
