Need advice... 12ud Baja offroad?

About to pull the trigger on a new12ud BAJA. We are excited but I am also concerned...

We will be mostly towing it with a 15 Grand Cherokee Overland V8 w/32" tires. I plan to use it off-road and occasionally tow it with my lifted Jeep Rubicon w/35"s. Most of our favorite places involve dirt roads, mostly nice roads with short rough sections. 200+ miles of dirt in a weekend is the norm for us.

Can this trailer handle it or will it rattle apart? I fully expect to repair things(I own 2 Jeeps so nothing new to me), but for the money I don't want to destroy it.
If it will mostly handle it are there certain weaknesses I should address right away?

Welcome from another Baja owner. In our case, it is a 22BHM.

The short answer is, it depends on how you take those rough sections. We boondock with ours almost every weekend when the weather allows. That includes a dirt/gravel access road that is just a little under a mile from a paved road. The furthest we have been off road is approx 5 miles in. I take it really easy on the truck and trailer and we haven't had a single issue in the year that we have owned it.

Will it handle 200 miles a weekend every weekend on a logging road or off road, I don't know. It really is going to depend on how you handle it.

Best of luck in what you decide to do.

If you have Jeeps then I’m sure you know the benefits of airing down your tires. Depending on your elevation either a small compressor or put together a CO2 set up to air your tires back up.
