Tongue jack caster question

Hello all,

I have an older 2000 Jayco Qwest pop up camper that has a basic tongue jack with no wheel or footplate on it. I've been having it rest on a solid wood block when camping but if ever I need to move the camper around a bit can't without hitching it up.

The problem is i've tried looking around and you can find lots of the 2" tongue jack casters (rated for up to 1200 lbs) but when I tried that it was too large and the caster would move around too much, making it unsafe to use.

Does anyone know what size I would need for an older model like that? I figure it's probably something like 1 1/2" but not too sure. Camper is stored at the in-laws now for the winter so I can't easily measure it but hoping someone might know so I could get the appropriate caster and footplate. I suppose I could upgrade the tongue jack too but that seems excessive for the once or twice a year I might need to move it around a bit.

Thanks!

Have a welding shop put a sleeve inside it...
