Amount of usage on your exterior shower box?
What all do you use your auxiliary shower for other than dirty children / pets?
Our last TT had an exterior shower. The new one doesn't.
I am in the "camp" of thought that we do in fact need one and want to install one. It can be done rather inexpensively about $60 for all parts.
My wife on the other hand thinks that I should not cut a hole in the side of the TT and leave it alone.

I have only used mine one time when my daughter buried herself in sand at the beach, but the water was too cold for her to get into the ocean to clean off. Other than that, I wish it was just more outside storage or something I would actually use. Mine is on the side next to my dump, so we never use it when we have hookups.

We use ours to Wash off the Dog when she gets into something, Fill up Dish Wash Pan and or to Rinse dishes. We don't care to use the sink in the trailer for some reason?? It's also handy for those times when you come back from the beach and your feet are full of sand.
And more importantly, if It's stinking hot outside, maybe a quick cool water rinse over the head. Otherwise we take our showers in the CG Facilities which are usually pretty well maintained.

mine is located between 2 slideouts, which at the time I thought was great! However, my power cord, and my sewer hose both run through the same area. So, if I don't get electrocuted, I end up stepping on, and/or tripping over the sewer hose! Only used a few times because of this. I believe that rv manufacturers should take their units out camping for at least a week to see if their design is correct. Apparently, they don't.

Never use it. Unless I want to shock the neighbors.

My last tt had the shower on the rear of the coach. The Jay Flights with an exterior shower have the on the drivers side.
I have plumbing to tap into at either location, not sure which area I will l choose if I do install. Although I am leaning toward the rear.

ours is on the back corner near our sewer hose so i use it to give the hose a quick rinse when packing up. but boy is it a PITA to wrap back up and fit into the tiny space.

We use ours all the time, but not too often as a shower.
I hook a hose up to ours and run it to a portable outdoor kitchen (photo below).
This way, we can wash hands, wash dishes and prep meals outside. And we can have hot or cold water (but we have to adjust it at the shower). It works great!
We also have an outdoor shower tent that we sometimes use when boondocking. We have a 90 FW tank, so FW isn't too much of a problem.

I use ours to wash dishes, BBQ tools, etc. I set up a small aluminum table with a plastic tub on it to do this. Work great and prevents a lot of "stuff" from accidently ending up in the grey tank (small food particles, etc). Works great for us!

Squirted a squirrel with mine once... I guess if you had kids they would come in handy...
Back in my off-road JEEP TRail days one of the girl drivers had a tent shower she would setup when we was camping. Always got lots of help when setting it up.. Never could figure out what the fuss was all about hehe...

I bought a inexpensive adapter to convert it to accept a regular hose sprayer. Use it to was dogs, clean grills and fill my black water sprayer.

??? Why does the outside shower cover have a different lock than the storage doors? Keys! Keys! Keys! Finally painted mine with nail polish with different colors for the storage and the shower locks. Guess the real question is why is the outside shower locked in the first place. The power pigtail access is not locked??
Guessing the shower thing is just an old school feature that has survived for some unknown reason. Was kind of surprised when my 2014 W Hawk still had one. After all, the $1.50 Y adapter I use on the CG water spicket is all I need for a short hose to spray off the dogs or kids [now all nearing 40].

Never use it. But I don't have young children anymore. Could be handy for some people.

We used it a few times on one trip the first season we had it, and only for washing dishes. It was actually more of a hassle than anything else. Now I just use a Y adapter and short hose with a sprayer on our water connection. Other than that we never use it.
What's more, is the first winter we had it, I forgot it was there and did not run anti-freeze through it. Needless to say the "T" inside froze and cracked at the seam so now I have to replace it.

We use ours all the time. To wash off the dog, for a quick rinse when we're back from the beach, and whatever else just happens to happen back there. I never thought I would really use it, but I find myself using it all the time.
Ours is directly off the stern, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

When the dealer was doing the walk thru and showed us the outside shower I thought to myself, "...that will never get used". We'll see, we haven't even been out with the new trailer yet.

X2, we go to the local farmers markets for the fresh vegetables and fruits so this works out great and super easy to wash my fresh fish, clams, oysters. On my Hybrid it's located just under the rear bunk at the edge so it's at a perfect height for the way we need to use it. With my plastic tub it's a great place for washing hands and cooling off Tunce too.
