Leveling?
The young kid escorts they have working at the campground I am at tried to tell me to use my stabilizer jack to level my camper. Thankfully I knew never to do that. Yikes!!! What a pain trying to level this thing. Bought a leveler stair system but it's terrible. I miss my BAL leveler

Why are you having problems? Use Lynx levelers. Side to side then front to back. Is the site THAT unlevel??

I purchased some stick on bubble levels and leveled my trailer in the drive way using my 4 foot level. Once it was level I stuck the levels on the back corner of the trailer near the storage compartment where the leveling blocks are stored. When I get the trailer into the site nearly where I want it I check the level for side to side and see how far out of level it is. I place the appropriate blocks next to the trailer wheel and move the trailer onto it. If it is close enough I chock the wheels and unhook. My wife watches the front to rear level as I raise or lower the front of the trailer. Once the levels are right we set the stabilizers. The entire process takes just a few minutes.

That is the thing. How do I know how much I have to raise it up?

Use a level! With the Lynx Legos, each block is 1 inch. If you only put blocks under one wheel, you only get 1/2 inch from each block.

Ok. I probably don't know how to use the level then. Lol. I don't know how many inches to raise it. Can someone tell me? I do have those levels attached to the front and side of the camper. Does each line represent 1 inch? Sorry.

Hello, After camping for years and useing blocks of wood under the tires to level the trailer, It dawned on me to use a little 6 ton bottle jack cost $40. after I unhook I use a level figture out which side needs to be jacked up.
On my trailer right next to the tires where the hangers are for the leaf springs. the hangers are attached to the frame by bolt and the bolt runs though a section of u channel that is welded to the frame well the shaft of the bottle neck jack fits into the u channel so there is no chance of bending or damaging the frame.
so i just jack it up till its level side to side takes a couple of minutes it.
Cheers, ROGER

Unfortunately, you pretty much have to eyeball it. I start with 3 blocks, stacked in a pyramid (2 on the bottom, 1 on top to keep the 2 on the bottom together). If that's not enough keep adding. As soon as the bubble is in the middle of the two lines, you're done.
There are levels that you mount to your TT, that tell you how many inches you're off by. Never used them, so not sure how they work.
You can also check out Anderson levels. Watcher their video to see how easy leveling can be. They're pretty spendy, though.

Leveling?
Here's what I do. Pull in to the spot. I put a 2' level inside the trailer on the floor and see how far off level it is side to side. Then I pull forward or backward (whatever is easier), put however many Lynx blocks I need down and then pull over them. As to how many blocks to stack? Well after you do it a few times you get a feel for what you need. Then I chock the wheels and use the jack to level front to rear. It's quick and easy for me. But there are different ways and you will find a procedure that works for you...

There are graduated Levels available at CW and walmart and also Amazon. They are marked in one inch intervals. They're pretty slick once you read the instructions.

How many Lynx blocs to use:
- Bubble in the middle: Whoooo-Hooo Zero! Start unpacking
- Bubble off to one side, but not touching either side, one block under one wheel
- Bubble touching the line or just past it, one block under both wheels
- Bubble clearly just past the line, two blocks under both wheels
- 1/2 the bubble under the line, go find another spot.

Once installed (when the trailer is level) these work pretty slick! I had a set on the last trailer, and now our new 32. Look how much off level the tt is, get out enough 2x to be close and place by the low side tires. As mentioned, pull forward/back up enough, wife slides the boards over, then pull/back trailer up on the boards. Double check to see how side to side level looks, and if needed, adjust. Also mentioned, if you raise just one wheel on the low side, it will raise the trailer by 1/2 the block thickness. 1" Lego block under one wheel= 1/2" rise.
Also, a tip I read (may have been CTBailey) is to try to level down a little to help keep water in the tub when showering. That way the water doesn't run around the outside edge onto the floor. This means we are about 1/2" low in the front since our tub back wall is toward the tongue. Because of doing this our a/c runs to the front, so I attach a rope to the gutter with a clothes pin to run the water away so it isn't dripping on me or into the front pass through when I need to get in there.

My levels are graduated in inches on each side. I use 16" long pieces of 5/4 deck boards that are conveniently one inch thick to level the trailer. I can look at the level and stack the right number of boards next to the tire to get within 1/2" of perfectly level. If I inadvertently leave one behind at a campsite. I'm not out much cost.

After you've leveled a few times, with whatever method you chose, you'll be able to do it in your sleep. It takes a few times to get to know your level and how many blocks to use move the bubble.

I third the Andersen levellers. I came from using a BAL leveller and this isn't as easy as that, but easy enough that I'm satisfied.

Can I see a pic of where you put the jack? I don't know what hangars or leaf springs are. Ha ha ha

Another vote for Andersen levellers. There's absolutely no guesswork when used in conjunction with a jumbo level mounted on the front of the trailer. I back into the site, position the trailer where I want it, put the levellers in front of the wheels and pull forward. The wheels roll up into the levellers and I watch the jumbo level in the rear view mirror. I stop when the bubble is centered, chock, unhook, level front to back, and done. I can do it alone in a matter of minutes and only leave the vehicle once.

Has anyone mentioned the guy in the Andersen leveler video is checking side to side level by plumbing the TT side wall?
Does anyone check side to side level using that method?

Are the Anderson levelers designed to work on motor homes as well with single axle duals or will they not take the weight? Would you need two on a side one under each tire?
