Probably too much information, but I would happily sacrifice my left one for a setup like that at home.

Norty1, can you tell me about your carport please? I'm about to buy one and I'm debating between having stick and asphalt roof construction to match the house of steel. It looks like it might be a "Carolina Carport"? I have a CC carport for my boat.
What is the Width, Depth, height of yours?'
Any thoughts I should consider?
OH, and is that a mirror on the front of your rig? I've seen Cougars with mirrors like that but not a Jayco. Was it factory back in '11 or did you add it?

Thought I seen it all until.......
Yes it's Carolina Carport. 36 X 16. 12' side poles. My rig has over 2' clearance in the center.
The mirror was std in 11. It is not very useful. I can see my hitch in the rear view mirror.
I had one installed next to it that is 12 x 20 for the truck. Ordered 6' side poles to allow me to pull the truck in with the kayaks on the roof. I poured a 4" slab for each and each leg is thru bolted to the base legs every 4 ft.
They have both gone thru some pretty high winds and one cat 1 hurricane with no damage.

If you pour a slab, make sure it has a front to back pitch so water will drain off of it.
