Drop Down Cab Overhead Bunk Option

Can anybody tell me how big the actual bed is for this? Queen? Approx. the same size as the cabover on a Redhawk or Greyhawk?

For 750 pounds, I have to assume the bed is big enough for 2 adults.

Are you asking how big the overhead bunk is on a Jayco Class A? If so, it is big enough for two adults. Not sure of the actual dimensions but it is very long and will fit people over 6'2". It might be as long as or longer than a king bed and about the width of a queen. No fitted sheets will fit it correctly so you have to use flat sheets and tuck

Size?

I measured 50 x 88 inches. I don't think I want to sleep up there but grandkids would love it. The "mattress" might improve the bed in the couch.

So its skinnier then a full bed but longer then a king?

Double Size 137 cm x 187 cm 4'6" x 6'2" (54"x 74")
Queen Size 153 cm x 203 cm 5'0" x 6'8" (60"x 80")
King Size 183 cm x 203 cm 6'0" x 6'8" (72" x

I had envisioned using this bed as a replacement for the overhead of bunk of my Greyhawk. I had figured if both of my girls could bunk up there like we currently do, then a Class 'A' might be something I'd consider. Seeing as how they're not going to both fit up there, that's sorta out. I find it odd that Jayco would make a drop down bed rated for 750 pounds that can only really fit 1 person. Is the clientele really getting that large?

Since I really do *not* want to buy a bunkhouse class 'A', looks like the coach I have is the right coach for my family. Which is kind of a relief seeing as how its significantly cheaper to make due with what I have.

Glad to see this post. Brought fitted queen sizes sheets for a guest. Going to go home and sew the bottoms together of 2 flat double sheets so their toes don't hang outside. A fitted sheet isn't long enough
4 inches narrower than a double bed isn't a deal breaker unless my guests are obese in which case we sleep up top and they take the bedroom

All right Jopopsy.... At 55" the bed is slightly wider then a double. Are your girls Disney Princesses??? My wife and I have slept on a Double Bed for 20 years.

Of course the Greyhawk has a Queen for us... That just adds to the joy of our vacation time.

They're saying it measures 50". That's less then a full/double bed. My princesses would both fight like cats and dogs as soon as one rolled too close to the other. And then DW would get spun up.

And then I'd be stuck in a camper w/ 3 angry females.

No thanks.

Just poking fun... My two argue even in the Greyhawk!

Gotta be honest... I am also happy to have an excuse not to drop the extra coin on a Precept... We have looked, but also will be happily cruising in our current rig!
