canuckowner.....I see by way of an email that you posted a message on here but for some reason it's not showing up here on the forum(that I can see) but you asked, "Did it come with that nice trim or did you make that/stain it yourself?"....the trim kit that is supplied from Classic Flame is simply the metal frame that surrounds the fireplace...looks like a picture frame.....I made the mantle and hearth and all the wood trim moulding was purchased either at Lowes or Home Depot...cut, stained, and installed.

Very nice job, looks great.
It is amazing how the Fireplace darkened up the cabinets from the 1st photo to the 2nd photo.

1) Classic Flame
2) Model 28EF023GRA
2) Purchased online from Home Depot for $249.00(including trim kit, the metal frame that surrounds the front of the unit and all mounting brackets and hardware

Can you tell me where the air intake is and the heat output is.
If not in the front how did you install this enclosed on top and sides
Waiting for my new Jayco to arrive.
Thanks.

I'm attaching some additional pics of the framing I added after removing the doors and shelving...there is a slight change in what you see in the pics....I actually dropped the top piece of framing down about 1 1/2 inches to allow for this air intake area...made the change but forgot to take additional pic....on this size that I installed I had room at the top to leave an air intake area....you can't see it in the final pics that's posted in my original post but it's underneath the little mantle I made because the mantel is hollow underneath allowing air to enter....as for the heat output, it's at the top of the fireplace just below the metal frame that surrounds the unit. Hopefully comments and pics will be helpful.
