Little mods to our 228
A few little mods I did tonight.
- Battery cutoff switch (now I don't have to worry about some kids playing with my power jack while the trailer is on my driveway)
- Bag holder (always need bags)
- Key holder (always looking for keys)

I used to have that same battery cut-off switch with removable key mounted int he same position. Works great, doesn't it?

That it does Mike. I wanted to do this to our old trailer and just never got around to it, always just pulled the line fuse. Very handy and peace of mind that no one can mess with my stuff. Best $6.00 I ever spent.

Jeff got a better deal at $6 but here's a link for the switch I had from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Cal-Term-41860.../dp/B0007MCTQ4
p.s. Northern Tool carries them too for around $13 and perhaps you can avoid shipping costs.

I bought it from Princess Automotive in Edmonton, I guess I did get a good deal. Did you ever have any problems with this switch Mike? Just wondering because it would be arcing every time you turn it on and off.....and it was only $6.00, eventually a failure?

Jeff sounds like you got a bad switch.. (or faulty wiring) take it back to PA for a new one... Gotta love their return policy.

Oh no Seann nothing is wrong with the switch. What I meant was te way those switches work every time you turn it on or off there is an arc. I was just wondering if over time Mike had any problems.
