EXACTLY what you have to do... to power recycle the radio.
Jayco used a half-baked dual-diode idea that they think will isolate the chassis "ignition sense" from the Seneca's "Power Sense" circuit and never did the isolation fool proof. The only way to really power recycle the radio is to remove the power plug from the rear of the JRV215 and then try to power it up w/no main power either.
If you don't want to remove your radio... removing EVERY Battery from the rig will do the trick... both chassis batteries and ALL-four House batteries must have negative terminals removed - and then reconnect the Chassis first, then the house.
Jayco created a flawed dual diode idolater circuit so that you could drive the Seneca with the cameras if there were no house batteries in the Seneca - OR - you could have the ignition off - and still run the radio., You have to Kill the Chassis power 100% to reset the radio while the house power is disconnected.
