Watts vs Fairview Pressure Regulator
Okay so I have been using a Valterra High Flow pressure regulator for years and was not really aware of the difference. My unit has such better pressure when directly connected to a spigot or on the pump which is leading me to believe that my regulator is either malfunctioning or just too restrictive.
I am going to invest in a new one this week and wanted to see what others are using and their results. The Valterra is out of my current running.
The Watts adjustable with a guage is a nice unit, but large. It does have the capabilities of being rebuilt which I like as well as the adjustability.
On the other side is a new Fairview unit that is all in one like the Valterra and caps out at 55PSI. No setting and supposed better flow than the Valterra and Camco units also about a third the cost of the Watts.
I am not so much concerned about the cost as much as I am the performance and longevity.
So my main questions are:
Do you notice a big difference in your pump vs the regulated flow with either?
Or with just the straight spigot vs the regulated to the unit?
