12 volt issue
my 2012 greyhawk 31FK was working great after a long hard winter, was getting it ready for this season. rig had not been plugged in to 120 for a couple of weeks, we lost all 12volt power. I plugged in to 120 for a full day this morning i had a little power not much enuff to make 12 volt lights in ceiling glow dimly. any ideas? anybody know where the 12 volt convertor is located?
Thanks

The converter is a grey panel down low somewhere.
Listen for a fan.
The cover pops open by pressing the top inwards.
Sounds like the battery is shot from cycling too low, too.
24 hours on the absorption charge will not be enough. Also check water level in the battery and add distilled water if needed.

In my 2006 Granite Ridge, it is under the bed...

If you had some voltage, then it's probably the battery. I have a 2012 as well, and my battery died last month. 12volt flooded batteries are only good for a couple years the way we use them.

In 31FS its under the bed behind the fuse/breaker panel that Mike837 describe. The actual converter is located there and has a plethera of wires going to it. More than likely the wires will be arranged in the form of a spaghetti bowl.

how long was the unit sitting unplugged from shore power? I bet you drained the battery beyond its ability to come back. you can have a mechanic shop test the cells and tell you if it is shot.

Thanks for all the tips, I found a badly corroded connection and seems to be working. Ihave left it plugged to shore power and see what happens. Thanks

Check the battery water levels throughout the charge.

I just finished checking my batteries they are all good ( last year I added two addition batteries as I do a lot of off grid RVing), batteries are full of water and tested like new. must be something between the batteries and the 12 volt system.. when plugged into 120 shore power my 12volt master panels says all is well , batteries at full.. as soon as i disconnect from shore power my battery level drops to one light(discharged). So i should conclude from that that the 12 volt converter is working fine but somehow my battery power is not getting through to the system. all batteries have good fluid levels and tested with a tester really well. I guess next step is to start checking connections after the batteries

Hopefully you are using a Volt Meter to test for voltage and also an Ohm Meter to check for continuity.
I would take my Volt Meter and check for the incoming 12 volts from the battery to the back of the converter. If you don't have 12 volts then I would put my meter on the ohm scale and check to see if you have continuity on the Positive and the Negative leads from the battery to the back of the converter. Make sure you have the Shore Power disconnected when doing this.
