Landing gear area

Fifth wheel landing gear

Noticed on my Pinnacle area around landing gear is very open as far as something getting in to rv.
Thinking about putting screen and spray foam around these.

Anyone done this??

I have noticed that as well. Curious to see what solution you come up with.

I crawled under mine and put spray foam in all the open areas then went inside and foamed the holes around the plumbing pipes. Still not 100% but much better.

You are correct Grumpy.......

I may put some vents in the door so I can block those where mice can get in under the batteries.

Mice would stay out because of battery smell and if they get a taste they will die.

Our rig came from the factory with spray foam around the landing gear. Our 'battery box' seals against the front baggage door so I left the bottom openings in that alone.

I cut some kind of heavy screening to fit around landing gear on the inside and then spray foamed around all sides of landing gear.
