The warranty is only two years and it is non transferable. So with a 2008 and second owner, most manufacturers would not cover it. I know that does not help and it would be great if they would fix it, but that`s how it is.

I also bought a used Jayco that looked like new but since it was used and the warranty is non-transferrable, them's the breaks. Jayco is very up-front with their terms and conditions for the warranty and I made sure I was aware of that when I made the purchase.

If something does come up, I expect to take care of it on my own dime.

My guess about the original owner thing is that they could verify how they maintained the trailer for the whole period, not that Jayco prefers new ownership. Every single trailer still out there on the road is advertising for them.

I understand its my problem buying it used, and the warranty is not tranferable, but this is a 2008 that was used a total of 5 times. other than the bubbles in the decals it looks, and smells brand new yet. so it is not some trailer that was beat up and abused. It would look the same sitting in the showroom as 2012's. And they want want to make a unsatisfied customer out of me over decals?? it was a flaw in the decals in 2008. so who cares who ownes it, they should step up and repair there defects.

Bad decals is an industry wide problem. None of the manufacturers are warrantying decals out of the warranty period. Just look around and you can see bad decals all over. Maintenance is not an issue.

Interesting that you mentioned that....the one decal on our 2010 31.5fbhs that is bubbled is the only one that was exposed to morning / afternoon sun sitting at the storage facility. All of our other decals are fine.

Did someone mention something about a recall on an 11 models decals? If its recall, then it should not matter what owner number you are. I don't know the model or specifics, but it might be something you can check on.

The nose decals on our 2010 29.5RKS that we purchased 3/2011
were replaced by the dealer at the time of purchase. This was a left over trailer that was parked on his lot with the nose facing the sun.

Our previous trailer a 2007 Denali 5th wheel had decal issues on the drivers side. This was the side that faced the rising and setting sun, while parked at our home.

Our 2005 Sunline did not have any decal issues, while my brothers 2004 Sunline had the decals replaced under warranty.

On the other hand I have seen 20 year old trailers with the decals still intact. Appears to be a decal quality and / or application issue with all mfg.

I have a 2008 jayco 5t5h wheel and it had the bubbles too . Jayco came up with idea to strip off decals repaint the trailer with clear coat and then redecal the trailer. Well they did this to my trailer and 4 days later when the sun was on the decals . They bubbled again. They just did this and it took jayco 4 years and a bit to try and fix this plus it was in shop for 3 months to have this done. Now we are back to square one . NOW WHAT.
