Outside Electrical Outlets

When did Jayco quit installing weatherproof outside electrical outlets? My 2012 Pinnacle 36KPTS had one, but my 2018 Pinnacle does not. There is a cable hatch that I can run an extension cord from the cargo/basement to the outside, but no outside outlets.

It varies for some reason. Our 08 SENECA had the same set up the plug was inside a compartment. Now on our 2015 PINNACLE it's on the outside.

Our 2011 has one but they placed it behind the open door. It also has one inside the utility cabinet on the other side.

My 2017 Eagle 293RKDS came off the line 03/10/17 has an outside double outlet. It also has outlets in the basement with one having a hatch to allow wired into the basement without the door closed.

It seems there is no rhyme or reason to what they do with each model. Just throw them together.

Yep, mine has an outlet (and cable TV) in the front storage compartment along with the cable 'outlet' through the floor. I also have an external outlet behind the entry door.

And my outside kitchen has two outlets. I wish there was an outlet on the opposite side of the trailer.

Personally, one less hole in the sidewall to caulk and worry about is fine by me. Our outside outlets are in the storage compartments. Once on each side.

I also have two separate places on the door side of trailer (before & after door) they are double outlets outside. I also wish I had one on opposite side of trailer

I have a double outlet just inside the road side basement door. You can run the cord out the door or over to the docking station and down out the hatch where the hoses run out at the bottom.

Mine has them but I wish they would have put on next to the kingpost. Oh well another mod calling...
