Glue to Hold Slide trim?

Our top trim piece across our bunkhouse slide has come off and appears it was held on with some glue of some sort and the really thin brad nails.

Fortunately it came off in one piece and we can salvage it without any visible damage, but does anyone know what kind of glue I can buy to help hold it back up and then re-nail it to the slide?

Learning new things on our NP375BHFS every day...

Thanks!

Silicone is an excellent adhesive, flexes and is waterproof.

I would use an adhesive that is meant for weatherstrip, I would not use silicone.

I should clarify, it's inside wood trim and not outside. I think liquid nail adhesive and small finishing nails will do the trick over silicone since it's wood on wood joins.

Just some good old wood glue and nails will work, easy to wipe up excess with a damp rag, liquid nails is harder to wipe excess.

I think this is same or similar to silicone.

It sure made my day, it happened last year. Pulled into a campground, opened the door and there was the moldings off of the kitchen slide and opposite slide both.

I new it would take the dealer where I purchased it a month to get it in and who knows how long to actually complete the repair. So I went to the nearest home center and purchased some finish nails and some Liquid Nails. They have stayed on every since. The factory should be ashamed of themselves for this type of workmanship.

All that refers to is that seller stocks the 3M silicone line, not that this item is silicone
This item 08008 is rubber, not silicone.

Here are the specs 3M lists for 08008

Specifications
08008
Adhesive Type Rubber

Very similar to what happened in our bunkhouse yesterday. At least it came off clean so I can repair with no issue.
