I don't know of any trouble free slide systems. If you look around they all give some kind of problem to some and others never have a problem. Electric, cable and hydraulic are all mechanical.

Someday they may perfect them. I remember when electric windows were always problematical. Now they are almost perfect. Same with the sliding rear window.

Someone has to want to make it more reliable.
