Igniter for oven
I've read on here how well written the Jayco owners manual is, LOL. So I turn once again to you wise folks. It would appear that my oven has an igniter under the burner. Well I'll be if I don't see a spark. There's definitely a wire that runs into the area and a device that looks like an igniter. Is there a way to adjust them? Trying to make the kitchen life easier on the wife.
Thanks

My 2012 oven lights manually. I suspect what you are thinking is a igniter is actually the pilot that needs to be lit by hand.

No igniter. Like Stuart Varney, you have to do it the old fashioned way, with a match.

Yep mine doesn't have a igniter on it, you have to light the stove by hand.

Put oven control knob on pilot, push knob in and hold. Then do a contortionist act while holding the knob in and reaching the pilot light....simple. :hihi:

Our '12 X23B has the igniter for the stove but we (me) have to light the oven pilot with a match or butane lighter.

If you look in the bottom of the stove you will see the gas line going to a small "box". It is near the back of the oven, in the center. Hold the knob in and wave your lighter (I recommend a long lighter) near the underside of the "box". When the gas gets to the "box" you will see the flame and know exactly where to light it.
