Water Heater Humming Noise

I have a 2015 Jayco Whitehawk 24RKS we recently purchased. I just noticed when I turn on the water heater to electric it has a humming noise. When I turn it off, the humming stops. Is this normal, if not how do I fix it? Thank you very much for any information.

Mine makes no noise. So I would say it's not normal. Has it always done it? Is it possible it's the inverter fan kicking in? The inverter fan will kick in when there is a certain amount of electrical draw. The hum from the inverter fan is normal...

Mine has a high-pitched whine. It is noticeable outside next to the water heater, but not inside the trailer.

Could you be talking about the Converter? The fan on it has more to do with the DC load, not the AC load.

I would not be powering the wh with the Inverter ,if you have one.

Yeah I wasn't sure if it was a converter or inverter from the factory (I haven't added anything). I googled and thought it said inverter. I was thinking maybe it was a coincidence and the converter was the humming. Again, my heater makes no noise inside or out when on electric. Thanks for the catch norty... In to our third season and I'm still learning lol...

Humming Noise

The noise has now stopped. It might be the heat sensors or inverter once when I initially turn it on. Once warm, it stops. Thank you for your assistance.

The notice stopped once the water heated up. It may have to do with that process. Thank you for your assistance.
