If you're interested in state parks then the Reserveamerica.com site and app is what a lot of them use for reservations. A lot of parks include pictures of each campsite, along with park maps and info about electric and water availability. You can reserve up to a year in advance.

We love going to the state parks in most states. You get a much nicer sized site and, in most places, are not looking directly at your neighbor's camper, a gas station or a storage facility like some of the "RV Resorts" we've stayed at in the past. LOL

We tend to stay where there is mountain biking available, preferably riding from the campsite like Brown County State Park in Indiana. Great park, BTW.
