Big Bear Lake, CA

We are planning on traveling from Costa Mesa to Big Bear Lake. We are pulling a 26' travel trailer. Are there any issues pulling a travel trailer on hi-ways 330, 18, and 18. On one site some said there is an 18% grade, I find that hard to believe.

Any suggestions on RV parks would be appreciated. Full service as we have guests with us.

Thanks

If towing I would stick to 330. Many more passing zones for slower traffic and much more comfortable route.

The 38 from the Yucaipa/Mentone side is okay too but still not as good as 330.

I wouldn’t want to be towing up 18.

I am coming up from San Andreas. The 330 seems as if it actually ends up being 18 and that is where my concern lies. Is it 18 from the east that people are referencing as dangerous?
